Mike oversees the day to day operations of the NC facility. He joined Hockmeyer in 2007 as Lab Manager and his duties were expanded to VP of Manufacturing in 2015 and named as VP/GM in 2018.
Prior to joining Hockmeyer, Mike was director of Quality Assurance at Kirker Enterprises where he was responsible for establishing and enacting in-house quality procedures, standards, and methodologies throughout the organization. With over 30 years of experience in chemical environments, he has brought to Hockmeyer an inside look at a manufacturing plant and his hands-on experience by working throughout the plant, research and development, and quality assurance. As a former customer to Hockmeyer, Mike understands the expectations put on a supplier. “We are a partner, to be successful it has to work for the both of us”.
When not at Hockmeyer, Mike enjoys coaching youth sports, a round of golf, and a good laugh. He understands the importance of camaraderie. “Nothing reflects more on an organization than the attitude of its people”.
